Loosens mucous in the respiratory tract. The active ingredient is N-acetylcysteine, which basically is a mucolytic (loosens phlegm / mucous / sputum / icky-stuff from the throat and chest).

N-acetylcysteine is a mucolytic agent that reduces the viscosity of secretions probably by the splitting of disulphide bonds in mucoproteins.
It limits hepatic toxicity in paracetamol overdosing by replenishing hepatic stores of glutathion.

How does ACC 200 work?

The key ingredient in ACC 200, N-acetylcysteine (NAC), targets thick and sticky mucus in your respiratory airways. It works by breaking down the bonds that keep the mucus clumped together.

While it doesn’t significantly increase the amount of mucus or fluid in your airways, it effectively thins it out. This process helps clear the mucus and can also reduce the risk of developing infections.
